What's Included

Expert strength programming. Made practical for runners.

Whether you're building toward a 5K, half marathon, marathon, or track season, your strength work should serve the demands of your running—not become another full training plan to manage.

The Programming Approach

Strength that supports the running you already do.

Training should be intentional, progressive, and realistic alongside your running workload.

01
Know the Context

Your running comes first.

The weekly structure is built around your racing, long runs, quality sessions, and recovery so lifting fits your season.

02
Build Strength

Progress the essentials.

Use appropriate main lifts and accessory exercises for the hips, hamstrings, calves, core, and other demands of running.

03
Adjust Over Time

Make progress—not more complexity.

Change loading, volume, and exercise selections when needed, while allowing enough consistency to build strength.

Your Coach

A track coach who understands strength training for runners.

Every program is personally designed by Dr. Brian Damhoff, DC, MS, founder of Elite Performance Institute.

With a master's degree in Sports Rehabilitation and more than 18 years coaching high school track & field athletes, Brian brings running-specific coaching experience to strength programming. As a former collegiate track athlete and experienced distance runner, he understands how strength work needs to coexist with running.

Common Questions

Answers before you get started.

A clear service with clear expectations: strength programming built for your running, without the unnecessary extras.

Is this exclusively for runners?

Yes. Programs are tailored to recreational distance runners, cross-country runners, track athletes, and runners preparing for races from the 5K to the marathon.

Do you create my running plan too?

No. Personalized coaching here means strength programming that complements your existing running plan; mileage schedules and race-pace coaching are not included.

Do I need a gym membership?

No. Your program can be designed around appropriate equipment you have at home or at the gym.

How will lifting fit with hard running days?

Some runners prefer pairing harder running sessions and strength work to preserve easy days. Others alternate when soreness is an issue. If running and lifting happen on the same day, separating them when practical is preferred, with lifting after running when sessions must be back-to-back.

Will I receive entirely new exercises every month?

Not necessarily. Keeping key exercises allows meaningful progress. Adjustments may involve load, repetitions, sets, exercise selection, or how strength sessions fit your training.

What's included in the $125 monthly membership?

One personalized four-week strength block with up to three sessions per week, exercise videos and prescriptions, plus one brief check-in and an updated program each month. Unlimited communication and live sessions are not included.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Membership renews monthly until canceled. You can manage future renewals through your MemberPress account. Cancellation stops future charges and access follows your paid-through period and membership terms.
