Why Patients Choose Dr. Maxwell Warren
Raised in Yorkville, Illinois, Dr. Max developed a strong interest in athletics early in life. After experiencing a baseball injury that sparked his interest in sports rehabilitation, he pursued chiropractic as a way to help athletes and active individuals recover well and return to the activities that matter most to them.
He played baseball at Yorkville High School before continuing at Lewis University, where he competed at the Division II level while earning his degree in Exercise and Movement Science in 2021. That combination of academic and athletic experience continues to influence how he works with patients today, especially those who value performance, mobility, and long-term function.
Dr. Max earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2026. During his time there, he was recognized as Clinic Student Intern of the Month, was nominated for the Clinical Excellence Award, and served as both a Palmer Mentor and Rehab2Performance Club representative. Mentorship from Drs. Brian Damhoff, Kevin Percuoco, and Dave Juehring helped shape his patient-centered, movement-focused approach to care.
Outside of patient care, Dr. Max stays involved in the fitness and sports community through Orangetheory Fitness, running, educational content, and local workshops. While attending Palmer College of Chiropractic, he completed the Bix 7 twice and the Quad Cities Half Marathon once, reflecting his commitment to endurance, fitness, and staying active himself.
Whether he is working with athletes, active adults, or anyone looking to move and feel better, Dr. Max is committed to helping patients improve mobility, build resilience, and return to the activities they enjoy most. His goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based chiropractic care that supports both recovery and long-term performance.

Dr. Max’s background as a former collegiate baseball player helps shape his practical understanding of training, recovery, throwing demands, and return-to-sport care.
