The hip flexor is the only muscle in the body that attaches to the spine, crosses the hip joint and attaches to the leg. Basically, it’s a really important muscle for a LOT of reasons and one that you should be concerned about.
If you sit a lot throughout the day, this is a stretch that you should do to open up your hips. The advantage is that this stretch can be done anywhere, literally anywhere! All you need is a little bit of floor space and you are good to go!
