In this video, you will learn how to do a side plank with rotation by Dr. Brian Damhoff.

1. Start on your side with your body in a straight line with the top arm reaching for the sky
2. Take your top arm and move it underneath your torso reaching under your body
3. Then rotate the arm back, again, reaching for the sky

You can rotate until your chest is approximately parallel to the floor. Make sure you stay in control while you move the arm and don’t compromise your form by letting your hip drop or not keeping your body in a straight line. If you want to increase the difficulty of the move, you can add a weight to the top arm and follow the same technique as before.
