In this video, you will learn how to do a modified side plank with hip abduction.
1. Start on your side with your body in a straight line
2. Bend the bottom leg to about 90 degrees
3. Raise up your hips to the top position
4. Raise the top leg up and down
You want to make sure that your hips don’t sag as you raise and lower the leg. You also want to make sure that the foot of the top leg stays neutral or slightly internally rotated and doesn’t flare out into external rotation as you move it up and down.
