Dead bugs are an effective way to target your core muscles. There are lots of great variations of the exercise and this particular one is a simple one with a kettlebell.
Be sure to watch the video to learn the proper technique to make the exercise most effective. Pick a weight that is suitable for you. If you pick too heavy of a weight, then this can quickly become a shoulder exercise. If you feel shoulder pain, you can either not bring the weight as far over your head or use a lighter weight. If that doesn’t solve the problem, then pick a different dead bug variation to target your core strength.
