Standing Banded Hip Adduction
In this video, you will learn how to do the standing banded hip adduction exercise.
1. Attach a band and stand perpendicular to the anchor point
2. Step out and place your weight on the opposite leg
3. Then you will connect your two legs together in a controlled manner
4. Return to starting position
If you need more resistance, the nice part is, you can just walk out a little further. When I do this exercise, I prefer to hang onto something with my outside arm as I feel like it allows me to really focus on using my adductors but either way is ok. What you don’t want to do is to let your leg flop back while performing the exercise. We’re looking for control of the band as you do the movement.
