What is the first visit like?
After you schedule an appointment, you’ll receive the new patient paperwork which can be filled out on a computer, smart phone, tablet, etc. You will need to fill that out before your first visit. On the first visit, Dr. Damhoff will review your new patient information along with taking a detailed thorough history of your condition. After that, Dr. Damhoff will perform an exam of the affected areas and take a look at the biomechanics of the issue. The site of pain is not always the site of dysfunction! Then, Dr. Damhoff performs treatment consisting of ART, adjusting and specific rehab depending on your condition, you can read more about our services here.
Do you take x-rays of every patient?
We do not take x-rays in our clinic. If your condition warrants x-rays based on the history and exam, then we will refer you out for x-rays. However, we take x-ray exposure very seriously and will only refer out if your condition warrants it.
Will I receive treatment the first day I come in?
Absolutely, you’re coming in because you’re in pain and it’s our job to get you out of pain as fast as possible!

No, we dictate care based on you and your issue. You will never be told that it will take 32 visits to fix your low back on your first visit and that you have to sign up for it that day. While every person is different, generally, patients are seen 4-6 visits for a condition although it depends upon your condition.
